Regular Season Round 23: Cholet - Boulazac 120-76

ProA U21 top team - Cholet (22-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifteenth ranked Boulazac (6-16) 120-76. Cholet well out of reach of Boulazac shooting 72.1 percent from the field. They also forced 26 Boulazac turnovers and outrebounded them 37-22 including a 26-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Cholet players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Boulazac's players. Boulazac was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for Guyanese forward Youri Morose (200-97) who led his team to a victory scoring 29 points and 5 rebounds (perfect from the field making all eleven shots !!!). Center Melvyn Govindy (213-97) helped adding 22 points and 12 rebounds. Cholet's coach felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Point guard Adrien Labanere (175-97, agency: Octagon Europe) responded with 20 points and 6 assists and Florian Adolphe scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cholet have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with 22-1 record. Boulazac at the other side keeps the fifteenth position with 16 games lost. Cholet will play against ES Chalonnais (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Boulazac will play against the league's second-placed Strasbourg U21 (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
