This time Alcobendas used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Rivas 81-65 on Saturday night. They outrebounded Rivas 49-24 including a 20-6 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Miguel Young (200-90) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Nicolas Bermudez (193-95) who added 7 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Alcobendas' coach Jose Antonio Ramirez allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Four Rivas players scored in double figures. Alcobendas maintains seventh position in Group B with 13-12 record. Loser Rivas keeps the eighth place with 13 games lost. Alcobendas will face Liceo Frances (#15) in Madrid in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Rivas will play at home against Estudiantes B (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
