Regular Season Round 3: Lakeside L. - Perry Lakes H. 83-65

Date: March 24, 2018
Lightning defeated Hawks in Bullcreek 83-65. It was a great evening for American swingman Ali Schwagmeyer (177-90, college: Quincy) who led her team to a victory scoring 20 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Her fellow American import forward Sydnee Fipps (178, college: Cal-Davis) helped adding 17 points and 5 rebounds. Four Lightning players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Antonia Farnworth with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 14 rebounds and guard Lauren Jeffers (170-88) scored 17 points. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Hawks will play next round against strong Cougars trying to get back on the winning streak. Lightning will try to continue on its current victory against Senators at Leederville.
