No shocking result in a game when second ranked Kyoto Hannar. (29-17) beat on the road 6th ranked Shimane Magic (7-39) 83-68 on Saturday. They outrebounded Shimane Magic 38-25 including 25 on the defensive glass. Kyoto Hannar. looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Shimane Magic was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. American center Joshua Smith (208-92, college: Georgetown) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points and 12 rebounds (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). The former international center Nagayoshi Yuya (199-91) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Four Kyoto Hannar. players scored in double figures.
