Rather predictable result when third ranked Orange Vikings (25-20) smashed on the road 6th ranked Bambitious Nara (11-34) 95-74 on Saturday. Orange Vikings looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists. American forward Chehales Tapscott (195-90, college: Portland St.) had a double-double by scoring 25 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists (perfect from downtown making all five shots) to lead the charge for the winners and guard Toshino Tatsuhiko (185-88) chipped in 23 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) during the contest. Four Orange Vikings players scored in double figures. At the losing side South African center Tshilidzi Nephawe (208-89, college: N.Mexico St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 10 rebounds and forward Junpei Honda (190-88) scored 24 points. Bambitious Nara's coach Zeljko Pavlicevic gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Orange Vikings maintains third position with 25-20 record having just three points less than leader Akita NH. Bambitious Nara lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth place with 34 games lost. Orange Vikings will have a break next round. Bambitious Nara will play again at home against Orange Vikings (#3) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
