Second Stage Round 8: T.Hesperange - BC Mess 64-105

Very important is a home loss of third ranked T.Hesperange (13-13) against fourth ranked BC Mess (13-13) on Saturday night. Host T.Hesperange was crushed by BC Mess in Hesperange 105-64. BC Mess dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to T.Hesperange's 38. It was a great shooting night for BC Mess especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Richard Ross (198-92, college: ODU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds (on 14-of-17 shooting from the field) and the other American import guard Dylan Talley (196-89, college: Nebraska, agency: Octagon Europe) who added 36 points (!!!) and 6 rebounds during the contest. American forward Pierce Cumpstone (203-94, college: Stonehill) responded with 24 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Pol Goebel (186-96) scored 12 points. BC Mess moved-up to third place, which they share with defeated T.Hesperange. T.Hesperange lost fifth consecutive game. BC Mess will meet at home league's second-placed Kordall Steelers in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. T.Hesperange will play against Heffingen and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
