No shocking result in a game in Capo d'Orlando where fourth ranked Germani BR (15-7) defeated 15th ranked Betaland Cdo (5-18) 88-78 on Saturday. Germani BR looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Marcus Landry (201-85, college: Wisconsin) who scored 24 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Lee Moore (193-95, college: UTEP) chipped in 17 points and 8 rebounds. Russian forward Valery Likhodey (205-86, agency: Alti Sport) produced 24 points and 9 rebounds and Serbian guard Vojislav Stojanovic (199-97) added 9 points, 10 rebounds and 13 assists respectively for the hosts. Five Germani BR and four Betaland Cdo players scored in double figures. Germani BR moved-up to third place. Betaland Cdo lost their twelfth game in a row. They keep the fifteenth position with 18 games lost. Germani BR will face MIA-RO Cantu (#8) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Betaland Cdo will play against Dolomiti En. TR (#7) in Trento and hope to win that game.
