There was no surprise when 11th ranked Distrito Olimpico (6-17) was crushed on the road by second ranked Valencia (21-3) 68-35 on Saturday. The game without a history. Valencia led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Distrito Olimpico to just 5 points in second quarter. Valencia held Distrito Olimpico to an opponent 18.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.1 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Distrito Olimpico 52-39 including a 39-23 advantage in defensive rebounds.
