Regular Season Round 20: Kolossos HH - PAOK 76-79

The most exciting game of round 20 in the A1 took place in Rodou. This derby game ended with only three-point home defeat of 7th ranked Kolossos HH (9-11) to sixth ranked PAOK (12-8) 79-76 on Saturday evening. PAOK shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. 30 personal fouls committed by Kolossos HH helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Phil Goss (188-83, college: Drexel) who helped to win the game recording 18 points and international point guard Antonios Koniaris (196-97) who added 7 points and 7 assists during the contest. American guard TJ Bray (196-92, college: Princeton) responded with 18 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import guard Brandon Young (193-91, college: De Paul, agency: Two Points) scored 13 points. Four Kolossos HH players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. PAOK have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Promitheas. Kolossos HH lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Kymis. PAOK is looking forward to face Koroivos (#12) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Kolossos HH will play against G.Larissa-Faros (#11) in Keratsiniou and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series.
