Regular Season Round 27: SAP Vaucluse - Aubenas 70-72

A very close game took place in Sorgues between Aubenas and SAP Vaucluse. Fifteenth ranked Aubenas (10-17) got a very close victory on the road over 14th ranked SAP Vaucluse (9-18). Aubenas managed to escape with a 2-point win 72-70 on Saturday evening. It was a great shooting night for Aubenas especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.9 percentage. It was a great evening for American forward Justin Moss (201-93, college: Buffalo) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Gilles Duro (190-88, agency: Octagon Europe) helped adding 9 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was American-Liberian guard Jeremy Williams (185-91, college: New Haven) with 13 points and 8 assists and American forward Wayne Morris (198-77, college: Shippensburg) scored 12 points. Aubenas moved-up to fourteenth place, which they share with GET Vosges. SAP Vaucluse lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the sixteenth position with 18 games lost. They share it with Lourdes. Aubenas will meet at home higher ranked Souffelweyersheim (#10) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. SAP Vaucluse will play against Rueil (#3) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
