Very significant was Eurotrend Biella's (#5) 15-point road victory against one of their biggest challengers Bertram Tortona in A2 86-71. American point guard Jazzmarr Ferguson (185-89, college: IU Southeast) notched 28 points to lead the effort and the other American import point guard Timothy Bowers (188-82, college: Mississippi St.) supported him with 19 points. Even a double-double of 18 points and 12 rebounds by Lithuanian forward Paulius Sorokas (202-92, agency: Octagon Europe) did not help to save the game for Bertram Tortona. The former international power forward Luca Garri (207-82) added 14 points for the hosts. Four Bertram Tortona players scored in double figures. Eurotrend Biella (16-10) moved-up to fourth place in A2. Bertram Tortona at the other side dropped to the fifth position with 11 games lost. Eurotrend Biella will play against Virtus Roma (#15) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Bertram Tortona will play against Latina Basket (#9) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
