The game with biggest result difference took place in Saint-Amand. Local Hainaut (5-14) was outscored by fourth ranked Lyon (12-7) 98-55. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Hainaut's 34. American forward Ashley Bruner (183-91, college: S.Carolina, agency: Two Points) came up with 13 points and 7 rebounds and Senegalese point guard Bintou Dieme-Marizy (164-84) added 10 points and 5 assists respectively for Hainaut in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Lyon. They maintain fourth place with 12-7 record. Hainaut lost their eighth game in a row. They dropped to the ninth position with 14 games lost. Lyon's next round opponent will be league's leader Bourges at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hainaut will play against Roche (#12) in La Roche and hope to win that game.
