The game in Sibenik supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Ragusa (12-6) played at the court of 7th ranked Sibenik (7-11). Ragusa did not have too big problems ending evening with a very confident victory 76-57 on Saturday. The game without a history. Ragusa led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 19 Sibenik turnovers. Ragusa looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was swingman Romana Stojanovic (186-93) who scored 14 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists. Marta Erslan (178-96) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Ragusa players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Klaudija Perisa (180-96) who recorded a double-double by scoring 15 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Sanda Tosic (176-86) added 8 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Sibenik's coach Stipe Bralic rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Ragusa. They maintain fourth place with 12-6 record. Loser Sibenik keeps the seventh position with 11 games lost. They share it with Zadar. Ragusa will meet at home higher ranked ZKK Split (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Sibenik will play against Plamen Pozega (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
