Very important is a home loss of third ranked Toulouse (15-7) against sixth ranked Reims (11-11) on Saturday night. Host Toulouse was defeated by Reims in Toulouse 71-58. Montenegrin center Natasa Popovic (192-82) had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Maria Blazejewski (185-91, college: L.Superior) chipped in 13 points during the contest. At the losing side Australian forward Mikaela Ruef (190-90, college: Stanford) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 14 rebounds (made all of her eight free throws) and guard Assetou Traore (178-95) scored 19 points and 6 rebounds. Reims moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Montbrison. Toulouse at the other side keeps the third position with seven games lost.
