Ninth-ranked Arras (8-14) used its home court advantage to challenge fourth ranked Charnay (13-9). The visitors from Charnay-les-Macon managed to secure only two-point victory 70-68. However their fans expected much easier game. Charnay forced 22 Arras turnovers. Power forward Johanna Cortinovis (190-86) fired 24 points and 8 rebounds (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. Ivorian center Kariata Diaby (192-95) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds.
