There was no surprise when 15th ranked Cagliari CUS (5-19) was crushed on the road by fifth ranked Team Crema (16-8) 67-37. The winners were led by guard Norma Rizzi (172-93) who scored that evening 18 points and 6 steals and power forward Gilda Cerri (185-90) supported her with 8 points and 11 rebounds. Team Crema's coach Sguaizer Diego felt very confident using 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 8 points and 12 rebounds by forward Eugenia Caldaro (178-96) did not help to save the game for Cagliari CUS. Forward Giulia Ridolfi (182-94) added 8 points and 5 rebounds.
