Leader Tokyo HT recorded the twenty eighth victory on Sunday night. This time they beat 6th ranked Kagoshima (14-20) 100-84 in Renova. Tokyo HT dominated down low during the game scoring 76 of its points in the paint compared to Kagoshima's 38. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American power forward Edward Morris (204-84, college: Pittsburg St.) who scored 16 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Swingman Mitsuhiro Kamezaki (189-86) chipped in 21 points and 4 assists. Five Tokyo HT players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Darnell Martin (198-91, college: CS Dominguez H.) who recorded 18 points and 7 rebounds and Canadian-Indian forward Bikramjit Gill (201-92, college: Ball St.) added 16 points and 9 assists respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Tokyo HT (28-6) have an impressive ten-game winning streak. They maintain first position. Kagoshima lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 20 games lost.
