Eleventh-ranked Blusens Monbus (11-13) made lots of trouble for fourth ranked FC Barcelona (17-7) in Santiago de Comp on Sunday. The visitors from Barcelona managed to secure only three-point victory 76-73. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests trailed by 9 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 3-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 76-73. FC Barcelona made 21-of-23 free shots (91.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was French point guard Thomas Heurtel (189-89, agency: BeoBasket) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 assists. Blusens Monbus' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. FC Barcelona have an impressive five-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Baskonia. Loser Blusens Monbus keeps the eleventh position with 13 games lost. FC Barcelona will face Movil Estudiantes (#13) in Madrid in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Blusens Monbus will play on the road against Burgos and hope to win that game.
