No shocking result in a game when Sharks (1-1) crushed Boomers (0-3) in Bulleen 90-52 on Sunday. Sharks forced 29 Boomers turnovers and outrebounded them 56-36 including a 25-11 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a good game for swingman Jazmin Shelley (174-0) who led her team to a victory with 23 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 9 steals. American guard Peyton Little (180-93, college: Oklahoma) contributed with 22 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners. Four Sharks players scored in double figures. Sharks' coach felt very confident using 11 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Tara Blair answered with 12 points and 6 rebounds and Maxine Allan added 10 points, 5 assists and 4 steals in the effort for Boomers. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
