There was no surprise in Sinj where 9th ranked Alkar (5-14) was defeated by sixth ranked Split (11-7) 73-58 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Split. Alkar managed to win second period 16-9. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Split had a 32-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Alkar's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Mateo Kedzo (205-84) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and 8 rebounds and guard Goran Filipovic (180-96) who added 12 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists during the contest. American point guard Dajuan Graf (183-92, college: N.C.Central) responded with 12 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and center Filip Krajina (210-95) scored 16 points. Four Alkar players scored in double figures. Split moved-up to fifth place. Alkar lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 14 games lost. Split will meet at home league's leader Cedevita in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Alkar will have a break next round.
