Very predictable result when third ranked Super Flavor M. (19-8) defeated on the road 11th ranked San Miniato (13-14) 69-63 on Sunday. It was a great evening for the former international power forward Andrea Paleari (202-81) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 7 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field). Swingman Stefano Laudoni (196-89) helped adding 18 points. The best for the losing side was guard Tommaso Tempestini (180-87, agency: Players Group) with 11 points and 9 assists and power forward Roberto Bertolini (198-86, agency: Octagon Europe) scored 17 points and 5 rebounds. San Miniato's coach Federico Barsotti tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Super Flavor M. moved-up to second place in B, which they share with Crema and Piacenza. Loser San Miniato keeps the eleventh position with 14 games lost. Super Flavor M. will face Varese Robur (#13) at home in the next round which should be an easy win for them. San Miniato will play against Alba and hope to win that game.
