Mieleras forced 19 Quetzales turnovers and had a 29-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The former international Diana Orozco (176-86, college: Buffalo) scored 15 points and 5 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) to lead the charge for the winners and Martha Castillo chipped in 10 points and 7 assists during the contest.
