There was a minor upset when 7th ranked Lighthouse TRP (13-13) was edged on the road by ninth ranked Agrigento (13-13) 64-62 on Sunday. Forward Giacomo Zilli (206-95, college: NC-Asheville, agency: Octagon Europe) had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Jalen Cannon (198-93, college: St.Francis, NY) chipped in 12 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. The former international swingman Gabriele Ganeto (200-87) responded with 17 points and 6 rebounds and the former international point guard Stefano Bossi (185-94, agency: Players Group) scored 13 points and 6 rebounds. Four Agrigento and five Lighthouse TRP players scored in double figures. Agrigento moved-up to eighth place in A2. Agrigento will face higher ranked Legnano (#3) in Castellanza in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game.
