There was a minor upset when 9th ranked Orvieto (9-13) was defeated on the road by eleventh ranked Umbertide (9-14) 64-55. Umbertide had a 30-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. The winners were led by Croatian center Jovana Mandic (193-92, college: Nicholls St., agency: ProDep Management) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and forward Federica Giudice (180-0) supported her with 15 points and 6 rebounds. Even 18 points and 4 steals by point guard Rachele Porcu (165-97, agency: SPORTlab Agency) did not help to save the game for Orvieto. Forward Giulia Manzotti (178-93) added 8 points and 10 rebounds. Orvieto's coach Massimo Romano let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Umbertide maintains eleventh position in A2 with 9-14 record. Orvieto at the other side dropped to the tenth place with 13 games lost.
