Bottom-ranked Zagreb managed to get a fourth victory, breaking the ten-game losing streak on Sunday night. This time they won against fifth-ranked KK Skrljevo 95-88. The game without a history. Zagreb led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 54.2 percentage. Zagreb looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. 27 personal fouls committed by KK Skrljevo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was forward Ante Krapic (203-85, agency: XL Basketball Agency) who scored 39 points (!!!) and 5 rebounds (on 13-of-16 shooting from the field). Guard Kruno Macner (193-0) chipped in 15 points and 8 assists. Swingman Davor Konjevic (197-90, agency: SPORTlab Agency) produced 23 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists and forward Jasmin Perkovic (205-80) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Zagreb (4-15) moved-up to eleventh place. KK Skrljevo at the other side dropped to the sixth position with eight games lost. Zagreb are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Jazine (#13) in Zadar in the next round. KK Skrljevo will play at home against KK Zabok (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
