Regular Season Round 23: MIA-RO Cantu - Fiat TO 93-90

A very close game took place in Cantu between MIA-RO Cantu and Fiat TO. Ninth ranked MIA-RO Cantu (12-11) got a very close home victory over 7th ranked Fiat TO (12-11). MIA-RO Cantu managed to escape with a 3-point win 93-90 in the game for the sixth place. MIA-RO Cantu looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for guard Jeremy Chappell (191-87, college: Robert Morris) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Randy Culpepper (183-89, college: UTEP, agency: Inception Sports) helped adding 20 points and 8 assists. Swingman Deron Washington (201-85, college: Virginia Tech) responded with 30 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Diante Garrett (196-88, college: Iowa St.) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 5 rebounds and 10 assists. Five MIA-RO Cantu and four Fiat TO players scored in double figures. MIA-RO Cantu moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Fiat TO. Fiat TO lost their third game in a row. MIA-RO Cantu will meet higher ranked Germani BR (#3) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Fiat TO will play against The Flexx PT and hope to secure a win.
