Worth to mention about the upset in a game between Trefl (15-12) and Start (14-11), which took place in Lublin. Higher ranked Trefl lost to eleventh ranked Start in a road game 72-84 on Sunday. It ended at the same time the six-game winning streak of Trefl. Start looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. It was a very good performance for American point guard James Washington (182-87, college: Middle Tenn.St.) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 assists. His fellow American import swingman Chavaughn Lewis (196-93, college: Marist) contributed with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. The former international Filip Dylewicz (202-80) answered with 22 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Jakub Karolak (196-93, agency: BeoExcell) added 20 points in the effort for Trefl. Trefl's coach Marcin Klozinski let to play eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Start moved-up to ninth place. Loser Trefl dropped to the eighth position with 12 games lost. Start will face higher ranked Stelmet Enea BC (#3) in Zielona Gora in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
