Bottom-ranked Maccabi Haifa managed to get a seventh victory, breaking the series of two consecutive losses. This time they edged seventh-ranked Galil Gilboa 98-95. Galil Gilboa cut a 15-point halftime deficit to three at the end of the game. Maccabi Haifa made 25-of-30 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. They share it with Maccabi Rishon and Ironi Nes-Ziona. Maccabi Haifa will play against higher ranked Hapoel Jerusalem (#3) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Galil Gilboa will play against Maccabi Rishon (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
