Regular Season Round 28: Nassjo - BC Lulea 94-97

Eighth-ranked Nassjo (5-23) gave a tough game to first ranked BC Lulea (22-6) on Tuesday. The visitors from Lulea managed to secure only three-point victory 97-94. However their fans expected much easier game. The guests took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 28-20. But Nassjo won second period 25-21. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was a great shooting night for BC Lulea especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. 27 personal fouls committed by Nassjo helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international Anton Saks (201-89, agency: Interperformances) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds and American guard Brandon Rozzell (188-89, college: VCU) who added 16 points during the contest. At the losing side guard Daniel Eliasson (191-92) responded with 21 points and 5 rebounds and Lithuanian forward Mantas Griskenas (200-85, college: Wichita St., agency: Dynamics Global Management) scored 10 points and 5 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. BC Lulea have an impressive six-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 22-6 record. Nassjo at the other side stay dead last with 23 lost games.
