Date: March 27, 2018
The most exciting game of round 29 in the Eredivisie took place in Den Bosch. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of second-ranked Den Bosch (18-5) to fourth ranked Zwolle (19-7) 69-68 in the game for the third place. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Den Bosch. The guests trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 12-9 charge, which allowed them to win the game. American forward Noah Dahlman (201-89, college: Wofford) saved the victory by scoring 21 points and 6 rebounds. His fellow American import guard Jordan Gregory (188-92, college: Montana) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. The former international center Nick Oudendag (210-87) answered with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds and American forward Mike Miklusak (198-94, college: W.Illinois) added 11 points and 8 rebounds in the effort for Den Bosch. Den Bosch's coach Silvano Poropat rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Zwolle have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They moved-up to third place. Den Bosch at the other side dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. Zwolle are looking forward to face Leeuwarden (#7) at home in the next round. Den Bosch will play against the league's second-placed Leiden and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
