Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Atenas (18-9) won against 7th ranked GECR Indalo (14-13) in Cordoba 85-76 on Wednesday. Atenas looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. GECR Indalo was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. American guard Donald Sims (185-87, college: Appalachian St., agency: Pensack Sports) orchestrated the victory by scoring 28 points and 6 assists (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). His fellow American import center Jerome Meyinsse (207-88, college: Virginia, agency: Dutt Sports Services) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Atenas' coach Nicolas Casalanguida used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest.
