The biggest surprise of round 43 was guest BC Nokia's (#3) road victory over Helsinki Seagulls (#4) 87-82 on Wednesday evening. The guests trailed by 7 points after three quarters before their 29-17 charge, which allowed them to win the game. Serbian power forward Dragan Labovic (207-87, agency: Alti Sport) fired a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds for the winners. American point guard Vincent Council (186-90, college: Providence) chipped in 17 points and 8 assists. American guard Remy Abell (195-92, college: Xavier, agency: Inception Sports) produced 25 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import guard Jermaine Marshall (193-90, college: Arizona St., agency: SDJ Sports) added 15 points and 5 assists respectively for lost side. Four BC Nokia and five Helsinki Seagulls players scored in double figures. BC Nokia (23-15) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain third place having seven points less than leader Salon Vilpas. Helsinki Seagulls at the other side keeps the fourth position with 16 games lost. BC Nokia are looking forward to face league's leader Salon Vilpas at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Helsinki Seagulls will play against Lapuan Korikobrat and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
