Important game to mention about took place in Tokyo. Saitama Broncos (2-2) saved a 3-point derby victory on the road edging Tokyo Cinq R. (0-4) 83-80 on Friday evening. Point guard Masaya Ueda (177-93) scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and American forward Ferrakohn Hall (203-90, college: Memphis) chipped in 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. Four Saitama Broncos players scored in double figures. American guard Andre Murray (188-87, college: Portland St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 27 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists and Senegalese Bira Seck (204-90, college: Idaho, agency: Interperformances) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Saitama Broncos will face Tokyo HT on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Tokyo Cinq R. will play against Kagoshima in Renova and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
