Regular Season Round 33: SKK Siedlce - Notec Inowr. 86-68

Bottom-ranked SKK Siedlce managed to get a seventh victory, breaking the series of thirteen consecutive losses. This time they won against sixteenth-ranked Notec Inowr. 86-68. It's especially surprising that the victory came too easily and 18-point difference proves that SKK Siedlce was well-prepared to that game. They dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Notec Inowr.'s 18 and made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Notec Inowr. 45-33 including 32 on the defensive glass. Notec Inowr. was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Forward Rafal Krol (200-87) nailed a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 11 rebounds for the winning side and point guard Kamil Czosnowski (180-95) accounted for 9 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Grzegorz Malecki (195-84, agency: Promotex) came up with 25 points and 7 rebounds and Damian Szczepanik (198-97) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Notec Inowr. in the defeat. SKK Siedlce (7-24) moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with KK Warszawa. Notec Inowr. lost sixth consecutive game. They dropped to the bottom. SKK Siedlce will play against higher ranked Siarka (#12) in Tarnobrzeg in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Notec Inowr. will play at home against GKS Tychy (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
