Regular Season Round 26: Charleville - Blois 77-89

ProB top team - ADA Blois (21-5) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat seventeenth ranked Charleville-Mezieres (6-20) 89-77. It looked good early as Charleville-Mezieres took a 5-point small lead at the end of first quarter. But then ADA Blois had a 25-11 second period charge getting the lead and Charleville-Mezieres was not able to take back game control losing it eventually 77-89. ADA Blois players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. American forward Tyren Johnson (202-88, college: La-Lafayette) scored 19 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Assane Ndoye (202-96) chipped in 19 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four ADA Blois players scored in double figures. ADA Blois' coach Mickael Hay allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American forward Dom Morris (201-90, college: Boston U.) responded with 25 points and 9 rebounds and Bahamas guard Michael Carey-Jr (196-93, college: Wagner) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds. ADA Blois have a solid three-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 21-5 record. Charleville-Mezieres at the other side dropped to the bottom place with 20 games lost. ADA Blois will play against JA Vichy (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Charleville-Mezieres will play against the league's second-placed Entente Orleans 45 (#2) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
