Not a big story in a game when 18th ranked Hyeres-Toulon (7-18) lost at home to tenth ranked ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket (13-12) 92-79 on Friday. The game was mostly controlled by ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket. Hyeres-Toulon was better in third quarter 23-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket made 16-of-20 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 14 long-distance shots on high 51.9 percentage. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket moved-up to eighth place, which they share with Le Portel. Hyeres-Toulon lost twelfth consecutive game. They stay at the bottom position with 18 games lost. ASVEL Lyon-Villeurbanne Basket will face Olympique Antibes (#13) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Hyeres-Toulon will play against Levallois (#10) and hope to win that game.
