A very interesting game took place in Keratsiniou. It ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 8th ranked Kolossos HH (9-12) to eleventh ranked G.Larissa-Faros (8-13) 79-77 on Saturday evening. Kolossos HH was tied at the half but could not keep up in last two quarters eventually losing the game. G.Larissa-Faros made 18-of-20 charity shots (90.0 percent) during the game. American-Ukrainian guard Steven Burtt (189-84, college: Iona) nailed 18 points for the winning side and point guard Nontas Papantoniou (190-90) accounted for 15 points and 8 assists. American guard TJ Bray (196-92, college: Princeton) came up with 22 points and 6 rebounds and the other American import forward Ramon Harris (201-88, college: Kentucky) added 11 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Kolossos HH in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players in such tough game. G.Larissa-Faros moved-up to ninth place, which they share with Cretan Kings. Kolossos HH lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the eighth position with 12 games lost. G.Larissa-Faros' next round opponent will be Koroivos (#13) on the road.
