Second Stage Round 9: BC Mess - Kordall Steelers 82-94

An interesting game for Kordall Steelers (19-8) which played road game in Mondercange against 3rd placed BC Mess (13-14). Second ranked Kordall Steelers managed to get a 12-point victory 94-82. The best player for the winners was American forward Antonio Bivins (198-92, college: Mass.-Lowell) who had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds. Point guard Max Schmit (182-91) chipped in 27 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Kordall Steelers players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American guard Dylan Talley (196-89, college: Nebraska, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded a double-double by scoring 40 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds and the other American import forward Richard Ross (198-92, college: ODU) added 18 points and 14 rebounds (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) respectively. Kordall Steelers maintains second place with 19-8 record having just five point less than leader Arantia. BC Mess at the other side keeps the third position with 14 games lost. Kordall Steelers' next round opponent will be Heffingen (#4) at home. BC Mess will play against the league's second-placed Residence in Bereldange and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
