Regular Season Round 26: Quimper - Saint-Chamond 89-86

A very interesting game took place in Quimper. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of higher ranked Saint Chamond (16-10) to seventeenth ranked Quimper UJAP (7-19) 89-86 on Saturday evening. It was quite big embarassment for the guest team. Saint Chamond was ahead by 4 points at the halftime before a 23-15 third quarter run of Quimper UJAP. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 27 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Kammeon Holsey (203-90, college: Georgia Tech) who scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Paul-Lou Duwiquet (195-95) chipped in 15 points. Four Quimper UJAP players scored in double figures. Guard Matthieu Guichard (188-88) produced 19 points and 4 assists and Jonathan Hoyaux (195-88) added 18 points respectively for the guests. Quimper UJAP maintains seventeenth position with 7-19 record. Saint Chamond at the other side keeps the sixth place with ten games lost. Quimper UJAP's next round opponent will be higher ranked Nantes (#16) on the road and it may be quite challenging game.
