No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Helsinki Seagulls (23-16) beat on the road bottom-ranked Lapuan Korikobrat (7-32) 93-83. The game was mostly controlled by Helsinki Seagulls. Lapuan Korikobrat was better in third quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Worth to mention a great performance of international Tuukka Kotti (205-81, college: Providence) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and American guard Remy Abell (195-92, college: Xavier, agency: Inception Sports) who added 22 points (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) during the contest. American guard Nick Kellogg (190-91, college: Ohio) responded with 25 points and 5 rebounds and his fellow American import Maurice Creek (196-90, college: G.Washington) scored 23 points. Four Lapuan Korikobrat players scored in double figures. Helsinki Seagulls moved-up to third place, which they share with BC Nokia. Lapuan Korikobrat at the other side stay dead last with 32 lost games. Helsinki Seagulls will play against KTP-Basket (#8) in Kotka in the next round where they are favorite. Lapuan Korikobrat will play on the road against the league's leader Salon Vilpas and hopes to get back on the winning track.
