Rather expected game in San Sebastian where 9th ranked Al-Qazeres (10-16) was defeated by seventh ranked Gipuzkoa UPV (14-12) 67-57. The game was mostly controlled by Gipuzkoa UPV. Al-Qazeres was better in third quarter 17-15. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They outrebounded Al-Qazeres 42-26 including a 34-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. Gipuzkoa UPV players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists comparing to just 5 passes made by Al-Qazeres' players. American power forward Lyndra Weaver (185-87, college: Virginia, agency: ProDep Management) notched 32 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and the other American import forward Jillian Alleyne (190-94, college: Oregon) supported her with 15 points and 14 rebounds.
