Second Stage Round 7: Kangoeroes - Deerlijk 95-67

An interesting game for Kangoeroes (3-1) which hosted in Boom 4th placed Tulikivi (0-5). Third ranked Kangoeroes had an easy win 95-67. Kangoeroes forced 20 Tulikivi turnovers and outrebounded them 38-27 including 24 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 8 passes made by Tulikivi's players. Worth to mention a great performance of American-Italian forward Emily Correal (190-90, college: William & Mary, agency: Two Points) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 9 rebounds. The former international point guard Inge Meylemans (163-92) contributed with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners. Four Kangoeroes players scored in double figures. Point guard Lisa Foucart (170-92) answered with 22 points (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) and guard Isabelle Degels (167-92) added 8 points in the effort for Tulikivi. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Kangoeroes moved-up to second place in Division Women. Tulikivi at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost.
