Very expected game when 13th ranked STB Le Havre (9-17) was smashed at home by third ranked Chorale de Roanne (20-6) 85-63 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 12-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 85-63. Chorale de Roanne looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. American David Jackson (195-86, college: W.Illinois) orchestrated the victory by scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. Cameroonian forward Benoit Mbala (203-95) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Chorale de Roanne players scored in double figures. Naturalized Algerian point guard Samir Mekdad (191-86) replied with 10 points and 5 rebounds and Angolan center Joaquim Valdelicio (208-90, college: Hawaii, agency: Duran International) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for STB Le Havre. STB Le Havre's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Chorale de Roanne have an impressive eight-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Orleans. Loser STB Le Havre keeps the thirteenth position with 17 games lost.
