No shocking result in a game when third ranked Rueil (21-7) beat at home 16th ranked SAP Vaucluse (9-19) 85-72 on Saturday. They outrebounded SAP Vaucluse 36-22 including 22 on the defensive glass. Rueil looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. The winners were led by American center Kyle Tresnak (208-92, college: Weber St.) who scored that evening 19 points and 9 rebounds (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Karim Gourari (204-89) supported him with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. Rueil's coach Julien Hervy allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 15 points and 9 rebounds by American-Haitian Marvin Dominique (201-91, college: St.Peter's) did not help to save the game for SAP Vaucluse. Point guard Yann Siegwarth (180-93) added 12 points for lost side. Four SAP Vaucluse players scored in double figures. Rueil have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 21-7 record having just two points less than leader Gries/Oberhoffen. SAP Vaucluse lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the sixteenth place with 19 games lost. They share the position with Lourdes. Rueil will meet Souffelweyersheim (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SAP Vaucluse will play against the league's second-placed Saint Vallier (#2) and hope to secure a win.
