Regular Season Round 27: Legnano - Agrigento 85-81

No shocking result in a game in Castellanza where third ranked Legnano (17-10) defeated 8th ranked Agrigento (13-14) 85-81 on Saturday. However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Legnano made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. Legnano outrebounded Agrigento 36-25 including 25 on the defensive glass. The game was also dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was Nikolas Raivio (192-86, college: Portland, agency: Pensack Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Center William Mosley (203-89, college: Northwestern St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!). At the other side the best for losing team was forward Jalen Cannon (198-93, college: St.Francis, NY) who recorded 8 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Pendarvis Williams (198-91, college: Norfolk St.) added 15 points and 4 assists respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Legnano maintains third place in A2 with 17-10 record having just three points less than leader Alma Trieste. Loser Agrigento keeps the eighth position with 14 games lost. Legnano will face Mens Sana 1871 (#12) in Siena in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Agrigento will play at home against Cuore Napoli (#16) and hope to win that game.
