Rather predictable result when eighth ranked Moron (14-14) won against on the road 12th ranked Cambados (10-17) 72-66. The game without a history. Moron led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 19-of-23 charity shots (82.6 percent) during the game. It was a great evening for swingman Tomeu Rigo (193-97) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points. Naturalized Ukrainian center Volodymyr Orlov (208-95) helped adding 10 points and 11 rebounds. Five Moron players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Carlos Poyatos (207-94) with 23 points and 7 rebounds and American forward Jeff Coby (203-94, college: Columbia) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds. Cambados' coach Chiqui Barros tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Moron maintains eighth place with 14-14 record. Cambados lost third consecutive game. They keep the twelfth position with 17 games lost. They share it with Agustinos-Leclerc and Plasencia. Moron will play against Agustinos-Leclerc (#14) in Leon in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Cambados will play on the road against Plasencia and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
