An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Ishikawa. Second ranked Gunma faced 4th ranked Kanazawa Sam.. Guests from Gunma (27-21) defeated host Kanazawa Sam. (24-24) 91-75. Gunma looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Thomas Kennedy (201-87, college: Detroit Mercy) who scored 19 points and 8 rebounds. Gunma maintains second position with 27-21 record having four points less than leader Akita NH, which they share with Cyberdyne IR. Newly promoted Kanazawa Sam. keeps the fourth place with 24 games lost. Gunma will face league's leader Fukuoka Rizing at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
