Regular Season Round 24: RIG Mark - Boras II 81-68

Date: April 1, 2018
No shocking result in a game when second ranked RIG Mark (12-4) beat 7th ranked Boras II (6-10) in Kinna 81-68 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by RIG Mark. Boras II managed to win second period 24-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Boras II to just 6 points in first quarter. The winners were led by guard Oskar Ekh (190-99) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds and Lojong Andarea Ladu (197-99) supported him with 11 points and 9 rebounds. Even a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds by forward Joakim Gustafsson (206-97) did not help to save the game for Boras II. Guard Robin Alm (184-93) added 21 points and 9 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. RIG Mark maintains second position with 12-4 record having eight points less than leader KFUM Fryshuset. Newly promoted Boras II keeps the seventh place with ten games lost. RIG Mark will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Boras II will play against Orebro (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
