Everything went according to plan in Hod Hasharon where fourth ranked Maccabi Ashdod (13-9) beat 10th ranked Bnei Hasharon (8-14) 82-78. The guests were already 12 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 25-17 Bnei Hasharon's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 82-78 at the end of the game. American-Jamaican guard Sek Henry (193-87, college: Nebraska) notched 17 points and 9 assists to lead the effort and American power forward Ben McCauley (206-86, college: N.Carolina St.) supported him with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Maccabi Ashdod's coach Brad Greenberg allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even a double-double of 26 points and 14 rebounds by American forward Jeff Adrien (201-86, college: Connecticut) did not help to save the game for Bnei Hasharon.
