Regular Season Round 27: Orasi Ravenna - Treviso Basket 75-73

The game between third ranked Treviso Basket (17-10) and ninth ranked Orasi Ravenna (15-12) was the most important one in the last round on Monday night. Treviso Basket was edged by Orasi Ravenna in a tough game in Ravenna 73-75. Strangely Treviso Basket outrebounded Orasi Ravenna 42-24 including a 18-2 advantage in offensive rebounds. 24 personal fouls committed by Treviso Basket helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was power forward Jerai Grant (203-89, college: Clemson) who scored 26 points (on 12-of-13 shooting from the field). Guard Rayvonte Rice (193-92, college: Illinois) chipped in 22 points and 6 rebounds. Orasi Ravenna's coach Antimo Martino used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was forward John Brown-III (201-92, college: High Point) who recorded 18 points and point guard Isaiah Swann (188-85, college: Florida St.) added 13 points and 6 rebounds respectively. Four Treviso Basket players scored in double figures. Orasi Ravenna moved-up to seventh place in A2. Treviso Basket at the other side keeps the third position with ten games lost. Orasi Ravenna are looking forward to face Dinamica MNV (#11) in Mirandola in the next round. Treviso Basket will play at home against Imola (#10) and is hoping to win this game.
